Re: High resolution screen

Hello Zengusan,

I found this guide to help you adjust the dpi settings on an app basis:
https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing ... -app-basis

Let me know if that worked?
Best,

Re: Compatiibility with VR Headsets with Tobii eye tracking

Hello cfta, of course this would be a nice input modality to use eyetracking inside a VR or AR headset. Currently I don't know any device that has an open programming API. You need access to the eyetracking data to perform inputs. It is also difficult in terms of user interface and operating system....

Re: Tobii Eye Tracker 5

Hi Re-Gamer, actually the upcoming version of IRIS won't have any more full mouse control features. It will solely focus on interactive zones that can be triggered by gaze. Sure IRIS can emulate mouse klicks, but it's not thought as a full mouse replacement. You can guess that this would not be in l...

Re: Ideas, feature requests for next version

Hi, thank you for the extensive list. I quickly read through it, as it is already late. Macros. 2. is already possible. Add this macro to your macro-file, it will open notepad via command line. <MACRO id="OpenNotepad"> <MAIN repeat="1"> <SHELLCOMMAND program="notepad.exe&quo...

Re: Tobii Eye Tracker 5

Hi,

yes I am currently working on IRIS. It will take some time, as I want to update the whole development environment to Qt6. Ideas are always welcome. Let me know what you have in mind.

Kinect v2 not supported in Windows 11

Hi all,

as of now, the Kinect v2 is not supported by Microsoft Windows 11 any more. It looks like the Win10 drivers are not installable on Windows 11. So if you are using the KinesicMouse Kinect v2 version don't update to Windows 11!

Best,
M

Re: New features

New release version 4.0.4 is online including profile switch shortcuts. Go to Settings->Profiles->Profiles(tab) and assign any keyboard shortcut to a profile. Press the shortcut and the KinesicMouse will switch to the profile.

Re: Toggle option not working

Thank you for the kind words, this really means a lot to me that people can make use of my software. If you want to share your youtube channel, I can place a link on the KinesicMouse website. It is always an inspiration which setups you can come up with. It will also bring some traffic to your chann...

Re: New features

I started working on this feature request. I think we might see a release in the next 7-10 days. Currently I focus a lot on creating detailed tutorial videos. I think in the past I neglected the documentation part and never documented the potential of this software. Creating videos is very time cons...
