Re: KinesicMouse freezes after a few seconds, I suspect it's because my sensor overheated, but I need a second opinion
In my opinion it's always better to be current on Windows maintenance but in this instance I would rather have the ability to use KinesicMouse. Just make sure you have a current backup or you can switch to the Kinect for Xbox ONE which is certainly inconvenient for laptop users. I agree... *sigh* I...

Re: KinesicMouse freezes after a few seconds, I suspect it's because my sensor overheated, but I need a second opinion
I had the issue with the Windows Creators update. I originally rolled back the update which did not resolve the issue. I then reinstalled Windows from a backup I made when I originally received my new laptop then completely uninstalled and reinstalled the Intel drivers which resolved the issue. Sho...

Re: KinesicMouse freezes after a few seconds, I suspect it's because my sensor overheated, but I need a second opinion
Yes, it is the last major windows update, called "Creators Update". Intel and Microsoft are both aware of the problem, still they haven't provided a solution for this issue for months now. Intel promised a new working driver for the SR300, still no updates on this one. The solution they o...

Re: KinesicMouse freezes after a few seconds, I suspect it's because my sensor overheated, but I need a second opinion
I just spotted the thread about a recent Windows update messing up the SR300... maybe the SR300 didn't overheat after all, maybe that Windows update just fucked things up. I seem to recall installing the update somewhere around the time when things stopped working...

KinesicMouse freezes after a few seconds, I suspect it's because my sensor overheated, but I need a second opinion
Hello, everyone. I'm in a bit of a pickle here. The KinesicMouse worked perfectly for a few days, but now I can't use it anymore, since it freezes after a few seconds. I've observed this problem happening on two different computers. I'm using the RealSense SR300 sensor (I bought an SDK version of it...

Help needed with signal differentiation
Hello! I bought an Intel Realsense RS300 recently, and tried downloading the KinesicMouse demo, but I'm having quite a bit of trouble with signal differentiation. That is to say, I've been fiddling around with the program for almost a whole day, and I can still only use 5 different facial expression...

Re: Does anyone know if KinesicMouse + RealSense SR300 will work *well* with a sixth generation i5 laptop CPU (i5 6xxx)?
I would typically have around 5 tabs open when browsing and never had any issues. This was an HP laptop with 8gb of memory and I never experienced any performance issues with my typical daily activities which also included playing games like Hearthstone. Nice, that's extremely useful to know! Thank...

Re: Does anyone know if KinesicMouse + RealSense SR300 will work *well* with a sixth generation i5 laptop CPU (i5 6xxx)?
I was running the KinesicMouse with the SR300 on an I5-6300 and the CPU ran at about 60% busy with nothing else running. I recently upgraded to an I7-7700k and the CPU now runs at 20%. Hope this helps. Thanks very much for the info! One other question, if I may... when you were using your i5-6300, ...
