Questions about kinesic mouse live and peoples set ups

I have a older version of kinesic mouse RS and unfortunately the camera have that worked on my laptop isn't working on my newest computer. So I may have to get the newest version of kinesic mouse. I was wondering if people could show pictures of how they configured their set ups and answer some questions about the newest version of the program. Such as how far away does the camera have to be from your face, are you using the forward or backward facing cameras on the iPhones? My current set up would have me maybe 12 inches from my screen and I'm worried that it is too close and the camera won't get a good image of my face. Any help and pictures of peoples set ups would help. Thanks everyone.
