I know it's early and you put the forum online just now but it might be a helpful posting:
Where can the required sensor be bought?
Another question that comes to mind is whether or not there is a chance that you will be able to solve the compatibility issues between the Intel RealSense and Kinekt V2 respectively KinesicMouse 2 and Project IRIS?
Do these incompatibilities also apply to Kinekt (1) for Windows?
Where to get the sensor?
Re: Where to get the sensor?
Hi,
you can get the EyeX directly from tobii: order EyeX Kit.
There is also a consumer version of the tobii EyeX called "Steelseries Sentry". This consumer version is available on amazon. It is more expensive than the EyeX developer kit version. So if you plan on using the EyeX with IRIS only it is not worth the spend the extra 100 EUR.
Regarding the compatibility i will create an extra post as this is a very good question.
Best,
Markus
