Using Project IRIS with Microsoft Word

Post by stunix001 »

Hi,

I am interested in acquiring Project IRIS to use it in conjunction with Microsoft Word. In Word you can assign shortkeys (for example, Ctrl+Alt+T) to specific actions (e.g. show synonyms). The idea is to use interactors to activate such actions, by mapping an interactor to a shortkey. My question is if this is possible with Project IRIS? Or can you only assign interactors to single keys? If so, would there be any other (user friendly) way to achieve this?

Thanks!!

I think you would be able to do this using a macro – have a look at the macro forum (viewforum.php?f=4) in particular have a look at the post (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=46) which I think is close to what you're after?

Never tried it myself but I think it should be possible.
