Re: Really necessary to charge 99 euros?
Hi Winston, thank you for sharing your thoughts. I have had the price discussion many many times. From my experience there is no way to convince you that it is actually a good deal. No matter if you charge 1 EUR or 1000 EUR there will be always a price tag that is too high for someone. That is just ...

Macros to Click&Drag an object X pixels
Hi, I got a request where someone wants to move an object just a small amount of pixels in a drawing application using IRIS. To do that you usually need to click & drag an object a fixed amount of pixels. I have created a set of macros where you first can select the amount of pixels that you wan...

Intel RealSense Depth Camera Manager 1.4 released
Hi, I just found out that there is already a new version available for the Intel Depth Camera Manager (DCM). This new version 1.4 fixes the "unsynchronized frame issue" that was present in version 1.3. I just tested the new version and it also seems to do a better job at measuring depth at...

Kinect Sensor keeps restarting every second
Hi folks, unfortunately this is issue is caused by the Kinect hardware and is not in my hands. There is nothing to worry about if you are having this problem. There is nothing wrong with the Kinect hardware, what so ever. Have a look at the last post in the official Microsoft Kinect for Windows foru...

Re: Feature Requests
Hey,
now that you mention it Zathras, I think your interpretation is accurate ;)
No you cannot use the EyeX for running the KinesicMouse. The EyeY is a completely different type of sensor and is not a 3D camera like the Kinect or the Intel RealSense.

Re: Feature Requests
Hey,
you can actually use the EyeX together with the KinesicMouse (Kinect version only, not Intel RealSense!). You will experience some interference from the Kinect in the accuracy of the eye tracking. Still it stays usable to activate interactors. So it may be worth to checking out.

Re: Thank you! + video?
Hi Jared, thank you very much for your feedback. I am unable to express how much motivation I draw from such postings. This is what keeps me motivated through all these years. You are absolutely right about the learning curve. I still lack proper material, like tutorials and a complete written manua...
