Re: IRIS and KinesicMouse compatibility

The lovely fellows over at Tobii have come up with a way to roll back the firmware. I can confirm that it does work however, it didn't change my issue from 95% fixed to 100% fixed. I have just noticed though that the lower my monitor is the better the tracking is. Of course having a monitor at a low...

Re: IRIS and KinesicMouse compatibility

Also of note is: I have discovered that different glasses work better or worse. Even though they are all the same prescription. I have three pairs of glasses but really only wear one. Tried the others to see what would happen and even without kinesic mouse two pairs of my glasses cause very poor tra...

Re: IRIS and KinesicMouse compatibility

That's interesting because I have a huge difference between Tobii.EyeX_1.5.3.140.exe and Tobii.EyeX_1.5.0.75.exe. Tobii.EyeX_1.5.0.75.exe fixes the problem by around 95%. No matter how many times I install Tobii.EyeX_1.5.3.140.exe it immediately causes a problem on the top middle and top right half ...

Re: IRIS and KinesicMouse compatibility

Tobii say no way to load old firmware...

Rolling back to earlier drivers fixes this 95% for me.

Anyone else? Completely or mostly fixed with older drivers? or?

Re: IRIS and KinesicMouse compatibility

Actually I wonder if it was always like that at the top middle. Not really sure as I don't look there too much. Works for my RTS games now.

Re: IRIS and KinesicMouse compatibility

Hi, I have uninstalled all tobii software and installed 1.0.5.75 which I had from a previous download. There is a definite large improvement. The only area where it still jerks around and moves dynamically is when I look outside the screen area in the top middle (above my monitor by 3-5 cm in the mi...

Re: IRIS and KinesicMouse compatibility

Thanks Marcus. Your always helpful :).

Is yours as bad as mine? IE look at top right and the cursor moves violently up and down over a 15cm area? But only when the Kinect is on.

I emailed Tobbi asking for old drivers but firefox crashed when I hit send so not sure if it worked.
