Re: First use and calibration

Did you try FPS view? I think that's what you're looking for. Watch this video below...

Re: Hold key for 8 seconds

Yeah, that clears it up a bit. So is the above code correct... it's not working in my game. I'm playing Dishonored and the q and e button lean your character left or right to peek around corners. I'm using Iris and I want to glance over at the interacter and have the character lean for moment while ...

Hold key for 8 seconds

How can I make a macro that holds a key for 8 seconds. Shouldn't this do it.. <MACRO id="E_KeyHold8"> <START></START> <MAIN repeat="1"> <KEYINPUT behaviour="PRESS" type="VIRTUAL_CODE" code="0x45"/> <WAIT time="8000"/> <KEYINPUT behaviour="RELEASE" type="VIRTUAL_CODE" code="0x45"/> </MAIN> <END></END...

Re: Macro commands list/help?

I'd like to know more about the macro system as well. Is this a unique language to kinesic and iris or is this a common language we can learn about somewhere? I don't quite understand how the conditional statements work.

Re: Inputs for games

Perhaps the right click needs to be held down for a moment. Try adding a little wait time between the press and release of the right click in the macro. Like this, <MOUSEBUTTONINPUT button="RIGHT" behaviour="PRESS"/> <WAIT time="25"/> <MOUSEBUTTONINPUT button="RIGHT" behaviour="RELEASE"/> You may ne...

Re: User Account Control

Just a heads up with the above workaround. After further testing I realize the shortcut will occasionally launch multiple instances of Iris. Aside from that though everything seems to function properly in game as it should.

So just a little something to watch out for if you use this.

Re: User Account Control

So I figured out how to hide the UAC prompt if anyone is interested. You have to create a special shortcut with a program called UAC Trust Shortcut. There is a link down on this page that shows where to get it and how to install it... http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/stop-annoying-uac-prompts-how-to-cre...

Re: User Account Control?

Thanks annaek, I'll have to give it another try with UAC off at some point.

Re: User Account Control?

... And so would disabling UAC also enable 3rd party tools to interact with Iris or will it simply get rid of the prompt?

I believe the same issue is what's preventing me from using autohotkey in conjunction with Iris.

Re: The Division and IRIS

Don't have the game myself, but did you try using the hold setting for the interactors instead of press once? The press once setting hasn't worked for a lot of games for me... I've had to use hold and quickly look at the interactor to press a key once. You can bump the dwelltime a bit under Behavior...
