In my opinion it's always better to be current on Windows maintenance but in this instance I would rather have the ability to use KinesicMouse. Just make sure you have a current backup or you can switch to the Kinect for Xbox ONE which is certainly inconvenient for laptop users.

I had the issue with the Windows Creators update. I originally rolled back the update which did not resolve the issue. I then reinstalled Windows from a backup I made when I originally received my new laptop then completely uninstalled and reinstalled the Intel drivers which resolved the issue. Shor...

Tobii 4C and Kinect for Xbox ONE issue
Is anybody successfully using the Tobii 4C with the Kinect for Xbox ONE? Both cameras are new so they should be running current drivers. I'm currently demoing Project iris which I really like but have an issue when running both cameras together. The Kinect for Xbox ONE will not stay connected when t...

I would typically have around 5 tabs open when browsing and never had any issues. This was an HP laptop with 8gb of memory and I never experienced any performance issues with my typical daily activities which also included playing games like Hearthstone.

I was running the KinesicMouse with the SR300 on an I5-6300 and the CPU ran at about 60% busy with nothing else running. I recently upgraded to an I7-7700k and the CPU now runs at 20%. Hope this helps.

Re: KinesicMouse stopped working [Intel SR300 not working with latest Windows update]
Thanks for the update! I've tried all of the suggestions but unfortunately nothing has fixed the problem. The SR300 camera is working but not with KinesicMouse. I think I'll just try the Microsoft camera which will also let me try Project Iris .

KinesicMouse stopped working [Intel SR300 not working with latest Windows update]
Last week Microsoft automatically installed the windows 10 Creators Update on my system. After this update my Intel SR300 stopped working. I finally got my old version of windows 10 restored and after deleting and reinstalling the Intel real sense drivers the camera is now working. Unfortunately Kin...

KinesicMouse and Project Iris
I am currently using KinesicMouse to play games on my laptop. One problem that I have is the inability to perform enough unique facial expressions to control some games. I think Project Iris would solve this problem except that the Tobii camera is not compatible with the Intel camera I use with Kine...
